Ajay Haryani
Ajay is a rising junior out of the Weinberg College of Arts and
Sciences. He's majoring in Psychology on a pre-med track, hoping to
end up one day as a Pediatric Oncologist. Through ASB, Ajay has been
able to combine his love for ANY type of road trip with his passion
for community service, and he is crazy excited to share that with his
Pre-WWW trip. His favorite ASB trip was driving to Camp Heartland,
Minnesota, through an insane snow storm. His favorite activities
include meeting new people and dancing.

Andrew Sze
Ni Hao! My name is Andrew Dunway Sze, but people usually call me Z since that’s how my last name is pronounced. My hometown is Darien, IL, which is around 45 minutes southwest of Northwestern. I am a rising senior who has chosen to major in History even though I don’t want to become a lawyer or professor! On campus, I am the Treasurer of Alternative Student Break (ASBanker!), Treasurer of NOM (Northwestern’s food appreciation club), a brother in Delta Sigma Pi, the Head Northwestern Representative for Chicago Area Undergraduate Research Symposium, and a committee member of the Northwestern University Sports Business and Research. I am really excited to lead a Pre-WW ASB trip again since my first group of ASBabies developed into such amazing NU students. ASB is always amazingly fun, so sit back and enjoy the long car ride because none of our sites are that close to Northwestern.

Alex Lubben
Alex Lubben is about to begin his junior year at NU. He's from Mamaroneck, a suburb of New York City. He decided a little too recently that he was going to give pre-med a try, and will be pretty busy trying to catch up on classes for the next two years while majoring in English. He tries to spend as much time outside as he possibly can; he sails and rock climbs pretty regularly. His favorite song is Ignition by R. Kelly (expect to hear that many, many times if you're on his trip), and Apples to Apples is his favorite board game. Pre-Wildcat 2011 will be his third ASB trip and he is super pumped. |

Ben Mogni
Ben Mogni is a junior chemistry major. He hopes to go to medical school after he graduates. He is involved in Phi Delta Theta, the Interfraternity Council, intramural sports, and of course ASB!!!!!!! This will be his fourth trip and he absolutely loved his first three. Outside of school, Ben lives in Glen Ellyn, Il, which is a suburb of Chicago. He loves the White Sox and Chicago Bears. Some hobbies of Ben's are photography and writing poetry. Over this summer, Ben will be in Spain studying in Salamanca and then visiting his relatives in Belgium. He is pumped for this upcoming ASB trip and school year and cannot wait to get back to campus. |

Brian Reilly
Hey there! My name is Brian Reilly and I am a soon-to-be sophomore here at Northwestern. I hail from Oak Park, CA which is about 45 minutes north of Los Angeles. My major is what you might call completely undecided, although my dream job would be running an international non-profit or NGO. Besides reppin’ the SoCal spirit on campus, I am also a DJ at WNUR (NU’s student radio station), the philanthropy chairman for the Delta Chi Fraternity, and an active member of PARC (Public Affairs Residential College). My favorite things to do on campus include laying out on sunny days at the lakefill and instigating random dance parties. I also love taking trips into Chicago to go to cheap concerts or visit art galleries, and I can’t wait to teach a group of incoming freshmen about the wonders that Chicago has to offer. My Pre-WW trip last summer was one of the best adventures of my life and I am unbelievably excited to lead my first ASB trip!

Chelsea Corbin
Howdy! My name is Chelsea Corbin and I am a rising sophomore from the beautiful Kentucky commonwealth. I am a journalism major and environmental policy and culture minor, which basically means that I like to write about and take photos of the Earth! This is my third ASB trip but the most important thing to know about me is that I’m OBSESSED//ADDICTED//DISTURBINGLY IN LOVE WITH marshmallows. Honestly, it’s disgusting. Luckily, I also love the color yellow. And broccoli. Oh, and I’m barefoot a lot.

Danielle Moehrke
Hello friends! My name is Danielle Moehrke, and I’m an incoming junior in SESP, majoring in Social Policy. I don’t really know what I want to do with my life, but after two painfully long summers of burning French onion soup and dropping trays of beverages, I'm well aware it won't be waitressing. Anyway, here are some of my random interests/favorites/pastimes, shopping-list style: flannel, mud, overalls, midnight dips in Lake Michigan, purple, Panera chai, campfires, light-up frisbees, running on the lakefill, onesies, bananagrams, outdoor concerts oh, and ASB, of course! I’ve been on 3 ASB trips so far, but I’m super pumped to site-lead this fall. On a side note, brace yourselves, as of recent I’ve become quite fond of the uke and may or may not have plans for car ride sing-a-longs.

Abby Gary
Abby absolutely adores ASB! She is a soon-to-be sophomore and studying Political Science and International Studies. She is a proud native of Portland, Oregon, but has loved exploring and getting lost in Chicago. You can normally find her on the lake fill or feeling studious in Deerling library. She is involved in Roosevelt Institute for public policy, Living Wage Campaign, Dance Marathon, and is a member of Delta Zeta Sorority. She loves camping, kayaking, and road trips, especially if all three are involved in one outing. She went on an ASB Pre-Wildcat Welcome trip and believes it was the best way possible to start her freshman year. She is thrilled to be leading a trip and cannot wait to share all her wisdom and advice with the incoming freshman.

Grace Galloway
Grace Galloway is rising Junior in Weinberg, studying Psychology and English. When she's not having a blast studying in the library, she's probably talking about how awesome one of her five ASB trips have been to anyone who will listen. One perfect outlet for talking about ASB is Grace's job as an NU Tour Guide. Grace loves her job of promoting Northwestern to prospies, even though she comes all the way from Southern California, where everything (at least in the realm of weather) is far superior to the Midwest. Regardless, Grace loves being at Northwestern, as you can she she likes to explore the Lakefill, even on the most tundra-like days of Evanston winters. Grace can't wait to meet all her new ASBest friends and have millions of AdventuresSB!

Jackie Hwang
Jackie is a rising senior from Northern New Jersey. She's McCormick student studying Environmental Engineering and absolutely loves it! She is obsessed with sunny days, meeting new people, smiling, shopping and celebrity gossip. This will be her first pre-wildcat welcome ASB trip, but her fifth ASB trip so far!!! She absolutely fell in love with ASB during her first trip to Omaha, Nebraska where she first learned to muck horse poop and pump gas. Jackie is so so excited to meet her new group of incoming freshmen and help them transition into college!

Jenny Haag
Hey there! My name is Jenny Haag and I’m a rising ASuperB senior—Wow! I’m double majoring in Biomedical Engineering and French (what a combo, I know) and I’m planning on going to med school, somewhere, sometime. I’m from Cleveland, OH but my heart is definitely in Chicago. I’m part of a bunch of student groups on campus, among them the Women’s Club Ice Hockey team, which is SO much fun! I’m obsessed with country music, peanut butter M&Ms, sitting by the lake, French movies, baking, and, of course, ASB . Favorite guilty pleasure: the Food Network. I was first introduced to ASB in the spring of my freshman year, and I absolutely fell in love. This will be my seventh ASB trip, but my first Pre-Wildcat Welcome trip and I’m SO pumped! Mostly, I’m looking forward to showing my freshmen ASBabies the ASBest parts about Northwestern!

Jess Smasal
Jess Smasal is a rising sophomore from the great city of St. Louis, Missouri. She is a dual major in Political Science and International Studies with an African regional focus. Aside from that she loves being involved on campus, especially with ASB! She is very excited to be leading a Pre-WW trip this year, as her trip last year was one of the ASBest times of her life! When Jess isn't lovin' on ASB, she is takin' care of business as the VP of Advocacy and Awareness of Inspire Media, a group here on campus that promotes media that inspires positive social change. She does Bikram Yoga (the hot one!) and loves shenanigans on the lakefill and exploring Evanston with friends!

Kelli Marks
Hey there! I'm Kelli, an incoming Senior majoring in Learning and Organizational Change. If my major just sounds like a jumble of words, get to know me and I'll tell you all about the School of Education and Social Policy (SESP). When I am not convincing people to transfer to SESP, I enjoy adventures, challenges and well, ice cream. Since Freshman year I have been involved with the NU Triathlon Team, although I had never run a 5k before college. I've dabbled in a bunch of different activities at NU but am currently involved in my sorority and running a leadership program at Evanston Township High School through a new student group, IMPACT. When I meet you I will have just accomplished my biggest adventure every, biking from Portland, Maine to Santa Barbara, California to raise money and awareness for affordable housing. Its essentially like ASB on wheels, I am extremely excited!!! My favorite part about Northwestern has been meeting awesome people and so I can't wait to meet you!

Kyle Trimble
Kyle Trimble is about to begin his junior year at Northwestern. He's a bio major, minoring in burger king adventure studies. You might see him sitting on his longboard watching the lake or eating thousands of calories in Sargent dining hall. He may forget his coat most of the time, but he won't forget his ASBabies, as he prides himself on frequent head counts.

Matt Jones
¡Hola! My name is Matt Jones and I am a rising sophomore majoring in environmental engineering with a minor in Spanish. I was raised about an hour from Evanston in Cary, IL, where I have spent countless hours playing basketball on my driveway or relaxing in the hammock in my backyard (two of my favorite places in the world). I am an avid Chicago sports fan (minus the White Sox, of course) and I thoroughly enjoy doing anything active or competitive. Besides sports, two of my favorite hobbies are bike riding and photography (though usually not simultaneously). If I were not an engineer I would probably study something like philosophy because I love thought-provoking quotes and thinking about life. I am a big fan of grilled shrimp, The Office, trying to roll my R’s, my grandma’s chocolate-chip cookies, whistling, thunderstorms, chewing gum, and, of course, THE WILDCATS! I cannot wait to meet you all and show you how fantastic ASB and Northwestern are!

Michelle Ki
Michelle is ALMOST a sophomore from St. Louis who isn't really sure of what she wants to do for the rest of her life... HOWEVER at Northwestern, she's studying Social Policy and absolutely LOVES it. Michelle loves cupcakes and baked goods of all sorts though she hasn't been able to bake much since she got to school. ALSO, she does not eat chocolate that is not fair trade which makes her really sad because many restaurants and bakeries don't use fair trade chocolate D: Secretly, she hopes that people would break out into song and dance and her life would become a musical. This trip will be Michelle's third and she is SOSOSO excited to meet you guys! (:

Sarah Daoud
Don’t let Sarah Daoud’s little stature give you the wrong impression-- she WILL beat you in an eating contest. A journalism and gender studies double major, a rising junior, and a whiney vegetarian (all I want is ONE HOT DOG), Sarah has plenty of spirit and inappropriate, ill-timed jokes up her sleeve. Most importantly, she is pumped about being a part of your ASB experience and seeing to it that you transition into life as a wildcat without a glitch.

Todd Siegel
Todd is an incoming Senior from the great suburb of Buffalo Grove, Illinois. He is studying Learning & Organizational Change (it's a really cool major in SESP!) and Economics. He hopes to go into Management Consulting after college and will have an internship with a firm in Chicago this summer. He has been on five ASB trips, all of which have been incredible. His most recent trip was to Quito, Ecuador. Pre-WW are his favorite trips, though, so he is super pumped for his last chance to do Pre-WW ASB. The only important thing in his life beside ASB is basketball.
